After the success of their previous retreats here, Dawn & Louise from Nurture & Balance have joined forces with inspiring local Personal Trainer & fitness professional, Leigh, to provide a relaxing Summer well being event.
Summer is the perfect time to harness energy from the longer sunny days and all the plentiful fresh seasonal foods nature provides in readiness for the darker/cooler autumn days ahead. With the relentless forward momentum that modern living places on us this promises to be a fabulous day to take time just for you; to relax, restore & nourish yourself as well as learning new skills so you continue to build your immunity and strength long after the retreat.
We are delighted to be hosting this event and providing all the refreshments, seasonal healthy lunch & tea time treats to pamper & fuel you through the day. The blend of dedicated yoga, relaxation, fitness & nutrition coaching and optional treatments, together with the beautiful tranquil surroundings here & our heated outdoor pool - this is all sure to provide the perfect venue for you to relax, reflect, restore and gather energy for your summer vitality.
The day will include:-
Welcome fruit platter, juices/smoothies & warming herbal teas
75 minutes of summer flow yoga (suitable for all abilities) in the garden with nature
Inspiring talk on eating for health & weight management
Gentle fitness & toning session with exercises to learn to take home to fit easily into your own routines. (suitable for all abilities)
Plentiful 2 course healthy vegetarian lunch buffet with drinks
Quiet time for relaxation in the gardens and/or swim in the pool
20 minute Yoga Nidra/relaxation
Tea and healthy treats to close the day
** Option to book a relaxation/massage treatment on the day** Choice of Reflexology or tailored sports massage/relaxation massage treatment - £20 for 30 mins **
The day will run from 9.30am – 4.30pm.
NB. Please note on booking if you would like a reflexology or massage treatment so this can be arranged (this add on extra is payable in cash on the day).
Do come dressed comfortably for light exercise, bring swimmers & towel if you would like to swim.
