Cooking with edible flowers is enjoying a huge increase in popularity, with edible blooms being decorative as well as delicious. Come along to our 2 hour demonstration and floral afternoon tea and learn all about the culinary delights of edible flowers.
Under the expert guidance of Sarah McLoughlin, (Sarah has worked in catering for over 30 years. She is a hugely talented chef & cake maker, great fun and an inspiring cook, we are delighted she is part of the team at the Bakehouse)
You will learn how to use edible flowers in cooking & baking, including them as a garnish, flavouring, infusing, crystallised or dried and learn how to make a number of tasty and beautiful recipes.
The afternoon will be rounded off with you enjoying a delicious floral afternoon tea together with a glass of prosecco and unlimited leaf tea.
£55 to include - Coffee/tea/fruit platter on arrival from 1pm, demonstration starts at 1.30pm until 3.30 followed by Afternoon tea with savoury sandwiches, floral sweet treats, scones with homemade jam & clotted cream, glass of prosecco & choice of leaf teas ……………A delightful edible afternoon!
